Every holiday, the United Methodists of Baytown & Mont Belvieu like to share God’s love with the residents of Swan Manor Assisted Living. We want to remind the residents that God and their community love them unconditionally. As part of this outreach, a group of children visit each of the apartments bringing homemade gifts and treats, and sharing smiles and hugs. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, groups visiting Swan Manor have been restricted from visitation. Therefore, we provide the gifts to the nursing staff who help share God’s love by passing these on to the residents.
These are the holidays for the Swan Manor Outreach: Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
